Day 1: Bangalore – Mysore via Sri Rangapatnam

After a pick-up, you will go on a private tour of Mysore, Sri Rangapatna & Shivanasamudra Water Fall by air-conditioned Chauffeur driven Car. The 145 kilometre drive, via Srirangapatnam will take about 4 hours.
En route, stop in the old city of Sri Rangapatna, which was briefly the capital of the Mysore state during the rule of Tipu Sultan. Located 14 km from Mysore on an island in the Kaveri River, Sri Rangapatna is home to the Dariya Daulat Palace (Summer Palace), set amid the gorgeous gardens of Daria Daulat Bagh. Visit the palace, built in 1784, which houses a museum dedicated to the sultan. See memorabilia, European paintings, Persian manuscripts on exhibit, Open corridors with pillars made of teakwood and outer walls displaying frescoes of battle scenes and portraits.
Once in Mysore, check in at your pre-booked hotel and relax yourself with Lunch (own expense).
After the Lunch you may continue your tour of Mysore. This is still a one of the finest city of southern India. .

On your sightseeing tour of the city, visit Mysore Palace, once the seat of power of the ruling Wodeyars, is one of the largest of its kind in India and one of the most splendid. Then, it’s on to St. Philomena’s Cathedral, a large Gothic-styled church with beautiful stained glass windows. Also visit Chamundi Hills. Halfway up is the Nandi Bull, a 4.8-meter monolith in homage to the mighty deity. Right on top is the 2000-year-old Chamundeswari Temple, dedicated to the patron goddess of the erstwhile royal family. At the end of the tour, proceed to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 2: Mysore – Bangalore via Shivanasamudra Water Fall

After a sumptuous breakfast (included) at the hotel, drive to Shivanasamudra Water Fall which is at the bank of Kaveri River. This is the Second largest waterfall in India and the Sixteenth Largest in the world. Shivanasamudra Water Fall has an average width 849 meter approx, Height is 90 meter approx and an average volume of water 934 cubic meters per sec approx. During the monsoon or rainy season waterfall grows enormous. After spend some time you may drive back to Bangalore.
