Delhi has a big collection of Museums and galleries. This Dazzling treasures housed in the museum & Gallery. You may explore the Indian Heritage & Culture treasure in Gandhi Smriti Museum, Indira Gandhi Memorial, National Gallery of modern art, National Museum & National Rail Museum.

After a pick-up, we will escort you a tour of Delhi Museum by chauffeur driven private Air-conditioned car. It will take approx 20 to 30 minutes by drive. Drive time can be a different due to your Delhi city Hotel Location.

Your first stop will be a Gandhi Smriti Museum, where Mr M.K. Gandhi (father of nation) used to stay during his visits to Delhi. Gandhi ji was assassinated here on his way to offer customary evening prayers. It has large collection of photographs with a few personal belongings and a series of small dolls houses. Gandhi Ji life is the attractions of this museum.
After spending a 40 to 60 minutes you may drive to National Gallery of Modern Art, The gallery is a repository of the cultural ethos of the country and showcases the changing art forms through the passage of the last hundred and fifty years starting from about 1857 in the field of Visual and Plastic arts. Notwithstanding some gaps and some trivia, the National Gallery of Modern Art collection today is undeniably the most significant collection of modern and contemporary art in the country today.

After the art & Craft visit you may visit the National Museum. This is one of the largest museums in India. Established in 1949, it holds variety of articles ranging from pre-historic era to modern works of art. After spending an hour you may have a lunch (own expense) in nice good restaurant of Delhi.

After the Lunch you may proceed to visit the National Rail museum in embassy area and most elite area of New Delhi. It opened on the 1 February 1977. It is located in over 10 acres of land with both indoor and outdoor exhibits. The Rail Transport Museum is a must for rail buffs. There are models of train engines and coaches and it is a train-lovers delight. Its pride is a model of India’s very first train, a steam engine that made its journey from Mumbai to Thane in 1853. The locomotives here are all displayed in the open although there is a museum as well, which is a storehouse of information on the history of railways in India. Its vintage displays include the oldest locomotive in the world-still working; the Vice regal Dining Car (1889) and the Prince of Wales Saloon (1875), Maharaja of Mysore’s Saloon (1899), Maharaja of Baroda’s Saloon (1886). The star attraction is the Fairy Queen, built in 1855, and considered to be the best preserved steam locomotive engines of her age. After spending an hour you may drive to Indira Gandhi Memorial. The former residence of Indira Gandhi is now a museum dedicated to the former Prime Minister’s life and family. It displays her personal effects, including the blood-stained sari she was wearing when she was assassinated in 1984. Many rooms are preserved in state, offering a window onto the elegant lives of Delhi’s political elite. An exhibit at the rear charts the similarly truncated life of Indira’s son, Rajiv, assassinated in 1991. In the garden, an enclosed crystal pathway marks Indira Gandhi’s final footsteps.
